With the release of "For The Chosen Who" Piazza and his Mighty Flyers get back to the roots of what drew them into the blues in the first place while at the same time investigating the funkier side of things by bringing in a lineup of very special guests including guitarist Phil Guy (Buddy Guy's brother) and a rhythm section made up of veterans Finis Tasby on bass and James Gadson on drums. With strong originals and well-chosen covers this is Piazza's most rootsy, adventurous album ever.

Little Scotty: Sings the Blues
Little Scotty has been living the life of a "Blues Man" all his life. The songs on this CD solidify his place as one of Chicago's great blues singers and writers. From chanelling the spirit of Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf and the late great Tyrone Davis, Scotty covers a whole lot of ground. Songs like Ol Coon Dog and Shoppin Spree are classic Chi-Town blues tracks. While Gimme what you promised Me and Got to Get Away From You are some of the best contemporary R&B you'll ever hear

Bob Johnson and the Flatliners: Fast Train to Nowhere
While listening to "Fast Train to Nowhere", its apparent early on that Bob and the boys are really having themselves a genuine good time. Bob's advice to the listener, "Sit back, relax, enjoy, tap your feet, and climb on board!" It appears to be a very good thing that Bob Johnson finally decided to put out his debut album. As for a second album, Johnson is quick to add with a smile, "Its already underway."
