The Bluescasters: Five Dimes
With a musical style that defies most labels, but is best described as "swinging blues," this debut effort from The Bluescasters consists of 13 songs, ten of which are original compositions. Likened to a "musical road trip," the songs on Five Dimes reflect the various regional styles of Detroit, Chicago, Memphis, New Orleans and Texas. Always entertaining, The Bluescasters use unique arrangements, diverse musical backgrounds and vocal harmony to distinguish themselves from other blues bands. The melodies are infectious and the lyrics are intriguing and thoughtful. This is a fine first effort from this Ann Arbor, Michigan area band

The Dave Chastain Band: Legacy
Peoria's Dave Chastain has been a professional musician for nearly four decades in central Illinois, Chastain is widely known as much for his relentless work ethic as he is for his stinging guitar chops.
Since winning the 1979 Rock-106 Basement Tapes award for his song "Highway Man," Chastain has been a fixture on the local music scene. However, his appeal is not limited to downstate Illinois, as he has proven time and again during his several foreign and domestic tours.
