"My debut CD is all about the blues as I love them: heavy on guitar, smooth vocals, and barbecue grease. If you follow guitar blues at all, you're sure to recognize the influences of some of my heroes: Johnny Winter, Eric Clapton, Albert King, Freddie King, and B.B. King. People tell me that my voice reminds them of Boz Skaggs', which may be true, but I never listened to his stuff enough to cop anything from him. You'll hear some vocal growling on my CD, which I did cop from Johnny Winter, a true growl-master! If you love guitar blues, I'm sure you'll enjoy this CD."
